The Y's Book III Page
Here is the page officialy devoted to Y's Book III for the Turbo Duo/Turbo Grafx-16 CD. While this game may be an incredible sequal to the original Y's Book I&II, it somehow never compared to the magic, and the spirit of the game. Here, Adol plays another role. He once again starts very weak, but we all know that at the end, he will be able to destroy all at the swing of a sword! I stand in sorrow to see such a game as this gone from America. Look at what everyone missed!!

Once again, a stunning story with INCREDIBLE artwork. Who said that the Duo couldn't do this? Here is Adol as we never get to see him! He is standing after defeating a demon who stood over 10 times his height!

Here she is, Adol's dear freind from Y's Book I&II. Her name is Lilia from Rance village. She is the one who discovers Adol gettting transported in a bolt of lightning on Y's book I&II. She waits, and watches silently as Adol once again departs to an unknown land. This is the first and the last time you see her in this game.

Here is Adol with a man named Dogi. Dogi suddenly comes about in this game with no introduction. Right now, they are in the woods looking around while incredible music is playing in the background.

Once again, Adol and Dogi are in the woods while great music is playing. Here, a squirell runs up Adol's leg, and perches on his arm.

And here is the star of the game:Adol. He is on the ship once again, and letting the wind blow through his hair.

Here is a place near the beginning of the game. Adol has discovered that someone was trapped in the mines, so he is going in to look for them.

Down deeper in the mines, he wanders... now he is right in front of the waterfalls.

Now Adol is in a tower, searching for more danger, and destroying it on site!

Deep into the tower we travel until we find a place that runs like clockwork. This area is dangerous as the gears can crush adol to bits, and enemies are hiding every which way and where. Amazing backgrounds on this level! The movements and animation are eye stunning!

Far far away Adol is. Deep into the mountains where cool life exists, and where danger lurks everywhere! A note on this level: This level has parts where the scrolling is so smooth, it almost drags you away from the game. I have no idea why this part of the game turns the ultra smooth scrolling on and off again.
